Shop "Green"

Oh hello, blogging world.  I am back and ready to start giving you lots of information about how to get better photos yourself and how to prepare for photo sessions as well as share great resources that I love for moms and kids!

This week I wanted to share a great resource that I love!  This past New Year’s Eve my personal resolution was to get at least 80% of my clothes from different recycled sources.  I have really enjoyed the great finds from thrift stores, consignment shops, clothing swaps, etc. so I thought I would let you know about a great spot to find kids resale and locally artisan made clothes, accessories, toys and more!  Kidz Head 2 Toe is an amazing place to shop.  Their beautifully laid out, well organized space and great quality clothing makes you feel like you’re in a retail store, but it’s all resale aside from a few super cute clothes and accessories that are made by local artists.  I really love all of the opportunity there is now to be able to get great items without having to buy new.  Let’s help recycle while having fashionable kids!  Enjoy, a few of the photos we took of some adorable kids in outfits from the store and then go in and check it out.  They even have a play area for your kiddos to stay entertained while you shop.

I love when I get to grow with a family! I have been photographing Andy's family for three years now. I got to be there for newborn photos of his second little boy and now he is almost two. My passion is in capturing our families as we grow and I'm honored to be able to do that for this family!

I was so greatful to get to take photos of my beautiful friends when they came to visit. I especially love the one of them all on the bench. Each of their expressions really captures them. I miss you!

The funniest thing happend last night at the spin class at the gym. I'm riding on a bike next to a woman that I recognize and after class we realize that I was her wedding photographer almost three years ago. It was so fun to see her and I thought I would share a few of their photos since it was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings I've done. Happy Anniversary in a few weeks!

Stephanie is a life coach for artists so she wanted something a little bit different for her headshots. We had so much fun taking these out on the fire escape of her office building. She is a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart who is very talented as a life coach!
